A woman whose wedding photographer was later found guilty of taking secret videos and pictures of her and around 100 other women getting undressed has spoken of her ordeal.

David Glover, 48, hid a camera inside an alarm clock he placed in a changing room at his studio and took footage of dozens of victims getting undressed.

He was rumbled in March 2014 when a client’s partner noticed something strange about the clock and inside found an SD card.

The victim eventually went to police who arrested him at his home where they found a removable hard drive in Glover’s coat pocket, containing more than 900 covert videos.

A further search of his home unearthed more secret footage of women undressing and using the toilet in various studios and at his home.

One of his victims, Michelle Pharo, had become friends with Glover when she started modelling aged 20, and asked him to take her photos during her wedding.

She told the Sun she was “disgusted” when she found out the truth.

She said: “David was my friend and I trusted him. “The fact that he agreed to shoot my wedding, knowing he had naked footage of me, is disgusting.

“Now, I can’t even go to the toilet in public without checking for cameras, David has made me second guess everything.

“I want other survivors to come forward if they think they could be one of David’s victims.”

In court Glover claimed he was interested in covert filming and didn’t realise it was illegal. However, he later pleaded guilty to five counts of voyeurism at Cambridge Crown Court.

As well as his jail time, he was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years and given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for the same timeframe, to monitor any future offending.

All devices found to contain videos of his victims were ordered to be destroyed.

Detective Constable Pete Wise said: “The lengths Glover went to in order to covertly film women without their consent is sickening.

“I can only imagine how horrified and violated his victims must feel about being filmed in this way.

“I am glad after three years of investigating Glover and gathering all the evidence, we have secured a result for those victims and hope this shows how seriously we take such offences.

“I would like to praise the victims for their courage in coming forward to assist us in bringing these charges to court.”
