YouTube bodybuilder Joesthetics, whose real name is Jo Lindner, has died at the age of 30.
Jo's cause of death is currently not known.
The German bodybuilder, who rose to prominence on YouTube, has received an outpouring of tributes as his good friend shared the news of his passing.
His friend Noel Deyzel confirmed the YouTuber's death as he wrote in an Instagram post: "Rest in peace Jo. I still keep checking my phone waiting for your reply so we can meet at the gym.
"I'm broken bro. You opened your arms up to us, you showed us so much about life and social media.

"Your generosity towards myself and others will always stay with me".

Noel added in an Instagram story post: "This is not a joke. His mother requested that we inform people about the situation.
"Please keep Jo and his loved ones in your prayers.
"I still just can't f**king believe it. Rest in peace brother."
Meanwhile, fans and followers have comments on Jo's last Instagram post, shares just two days ago, to pay tribute to the YouTuber.
Traitors star Dr Amos wrote: "This is so sad RIP. We need to consciously move towards promoting healthier bodybuilding".
Fellow bodybuilder Joseph Shulkin added: "You inspired me and millions of others man. You have done so much for the community, had the best energy, and the kindest soul. We will always remember you brazza, fly high".
"I’m gonna miss hearing you say “BRAZZA” Your energy/content will live on forever Joe! RIP LEGEND," another penned.
And a third wrote: "I always looked up to this man it’s tragic to see he’s gone at such a young age."

Jo shared his bodybuilding routines and other content around his passion on YouTube. He briefly lived in Thailand and created content during his time there, which saw him rise to fame.
Jo's girlfriend Nicha, a fellow bodybuilder, would appear on his Instagram feed regularly.
