Epic Games has increased the price of Fortnite V-Bucks in the UK, with the move extending to other Epic games too including Fall Guys.

Due to the ongoing cost of living crisis in the UK, we've sadly come to expect price bumps for most things, PlayStation bumped up the price of the PS5 last August, with Xbox following suit by raising the price of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass this month. Now Epic Games are the latest to follow the trend of raising prices due to 'inflation'.

The price of Fortnite V-Bucks have been stable since the last price increase in 2021, however, users in the UK, Canada, and Mexico are about to have to pay more for V-Bucks.

Fortnite V-Bucks UK prices increased

Epic Games announced the move on the Fortnite Website, and have released the revised prices for each of the available packs of V-Bucks available in the Fortnite store:

While not a major bump for the basic 1,000 V-Bucks pack, the pricing increase does get a bit harder to swallow with some of the more expensive bundle. The former prices will remain until July 17, 2023, so if you want to stock up on V-Bucks before the bump, you still have time.

Epic also announced that the price of Fortnite Crew will remain the same, so if you were looking to cancel Fortnite Crew because of a possible increase, you don't need to worry.

Fall Guys also affected

Epic Games' other premiere battle royale title Fall Guys has also been hit with a bump in pricing as announced on the Fall Guys website. The price changes for Fall Guys are as follows

Much like Fortnite Crew, the prices for Fame Pass will remain the same as it has always been. Epic Games haven't announced if any pricing changes would arrive in Rocket League, but considering that's the third big game on the Epic Games roster, we would expect price rises for that sooner rather than later.
