Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will not be fighting this year as their undisputed heavyweight title clash has been delayed again.
The heavyweight champions were expected to meet at the end of April as Usyk surprisingly accepted a 70/30 purse split in favour of his rival. Despite the fight being given the green light, negotiations broke down when the two parties failed to agree to a rematch clause in the contract.
A monumental heavyweight event was then being reported for December in Saudi Arabia that would have seen Fury vs Usyk fight on the same card as Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder. But Fury's promoter has now confirmed that the undisputed clash will no longer go ahead as Saudi Arabia is planning to push the fight back until January.
"He will not be fighting on the Skill Challenge show in December because they're talking about their show now being postponed until January. We have to make things happen, we can't wait for people to make things happen. We tried to make it happen three times already this year with Usyk, contrary to all of the social media c***, and he didn't want it," Warren told talkSPORT.

"If he'd have wanted it, the fight would've taken place. What he wants to do is wait and he thinks he's getting his $70million in Saudi, and I understand that. I absolutely get that but stop the nonsense that the fight's not happening because of Tyson. Tyson really wants to fight and we've gotta make it happen."
Fury has been struggling to book a fight this year having not fought since knocking out Derek Chisora in a largely unwanted trilogy fight last December. 'The Gypsy King' has teased crossover fights against MMA heavyweights Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones, with Warren confirming either of the duo could be an option for his next fight.

The type of money something like that could generate - why wait for people saying, 'Wait until next year,' when you can make these fights now. Why wouldn't you do that now?" Warren said of Fury potentially facing Jones or Ngannou before adding that his next fight will be a "game-changer".
Ngannou and Jones have both been pushing for fights against Fury after the Brit's crossover fight proposal. Jones would be unable to step foot in the boxing ring unless he is pardoned from his contractual duties by UFC boss Dana White whilst Ngannou is able to compete in boxing despite being under contract with the PFL as part of his agreement with the MMA promotion.
