The Apprentice fans were loving the fact that one of last year's contestants was serving pints at Glastonbury Festival.

Glastonbury took place over the weekend and saw the likes of Lizzo, Elton John and Arctic Monkeys perform on the main stage.

Like many festivals, bars and restaurants were dotted throughout and one of the venues included a surprise star.

A festivalgoer took to Twitter to share a snap they took of Apprentice star Nick Showering working behind the bar.

The businessman, who was featured on the BBC One programme in 2022, was pulling pints for thirsty revellers as he helped his family.

Nick was behind the bar as he was helping out Brothers Cider - a company owned by members of his family.

Posting the picture, the attendee said: "Nick from the last season of The Apprentice just served me a cider at Glastonbury. RIP Lord Sugar’s millions."

Fans of the programme rushed to the comment section to make jokes about the BBC show.

"If it’s his stall, I’d say he is doing well knowing what they make this weekend," one person said.

Another wrote: "Harpreet won the Apprentice. Nick won our hearts" while one said: "He owns the business."

He also runs his own cider company called Showering Cider.

After an intense battle on The Apprentice, Harpreet - a dessert parlour entrepreneur - won the series and secured £250,000 for her business.

Last year, Nick admitted he had feelings for one of his co-stars but was too scared to ask them out.

Following his departure from the show, Nick opened up about his experience on the show, revealing that a fellow candidate had "caught his eye" whilst competing.

He spoke about this with the Daily Star, telling the outlet that although he had fancied one of his co-stars on the show, he had been too nervous to act on his feelings.

Nick said: "Someone caught my eye in there but I didn't act on it." He said that they "probably had no idea," admitting that he is often "very shy" when it comes to romance.

The qualified accountant described himself as "absolutely terrible" and "the worst" when it comes to this, adding: "I fancy people and I don't know what to do about it."
