Lewis Capaldi fans were shocked and 'confused' when planes started flying over his set at Glastonbury Festival earlier today.
The How I'm Feeling Now singer, 26, played on the Pyramid Stage this evening to energetic crowds, after taking a few weeks off and cancelling a string of gigs earlier this month to ensure he was fit enough to perform at Worthy Farm this weekend.
However, thousands of crooning fans, hot weather and Lewis' incredible energy weren't enough to drown out the sudden sounds of aeroplanes flying over as the star performed.
A flight of planes flew over Glastonbury while he played his guitar and belted out his hit song, Forever.
One festivalgoer was so confused he initially thought the planes were intentionally flying over for Lewis' set.

"No one knew what was happening at first but as it started to go over everyone began to cheer," a fan told Mirror.
The star was confused by the fleet of planes"I was confused. I thought 'What the f**k? Is there an army base here? Is this for Lewis Capaldi? Are we in trouble?"
Lewis was just as confused as festivalgoers but waited until the end of his song to question what happened.
He asked the crowd if it normally happens, questioning: "Does that happen a lot? No? So they just thought ‘You know what that Lewis Capaldi set needs, send in the Red Arrows.'"
The Scottish star also revealed he wasn't supposed to use swear words on stage.
He continued: "If you don’t want swears, you don’t invite captain cool over here” while pointing to himself.
“This is a lot of people, it’s a lot of people. This is genuinely quite a surreal thing,” he added as he looked out at the crowd.
Lewis opened his set with Forget Me, his lead single from his second studio album.
The hitmaker cancelled all his other gigs ahead of his set at Glastonbury Festival as he wanted time to "rest and recover".
Taking to Instagram earlier this month, the Someone You Loved singer wrote: "Hi everyone, hope you're well. This is a really difficult message and one that hurts me a lot to have to type.

"It's been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of."
He said that the last few months have been "full on both mentally and physically" and he wanted time to rest.
After performing Bruises at Glasto, Lewis admitted he was starting to lose his voice – but that he was going to power through to the end of his slot.
He told the crowd: “I’m going to be honest everybody but I’m starting to lose my voice up here, but we’re going to keep going and we’re going to go until the end. I just need you all to sing with me as loud as you can if that’s okay?”
Lewis went on to address his recent break from performing, revealing he plans to take more time off in the future.
He told the crowd: “I recently took three weeks off just because I’ve been none stop the past year and I wanted to take a wee break from my head for my mental health.
“I wanted to come back and do Glastonbury because it’s obviously so incredible so I just want to thank you all for coming out. I was scared but you’ve really made me feel at ease so thank you very much for that.”
The award-winning singer added: “I feel like I’ll be taking another wee break over the next couple of weeks so you probably won’t see much of me for the rest of the year maybe even. But when I do come back, when I do see you, I hope you’re all still up for watching.”
