Champion jockey Jamie Kah has hit out after pictures emerged of her racking up a line of white powder.
Kah is set to make her return to horse racing after suffering a serious brain injury following a horrific fall in March. The 27-year-old has announced she is back in the saddle following a long stint in hospital after a brain bleed and memory loss.
That return was revealed on Thursday but just a day later, photos emerged of Kah appearing to rack up a line of a white substance. In the images, Kah is pictured with two friends and a grey plate placed on the table they are sitting around.
In one picture, Kah's hand appears to be using a plastic card to split a mound of white powder on that plate. There is also a bag containing white power next to the plate on the kitchen top.
Kah has hit out at the insinuation she had done anything wrong with the publication of the images. Instead, she has insisted she is remaining focused on her recovery, both mentally and physically, from her fall three months ago.

"I am so disappointed that Newscorp published this 'story'. I am determined to focus on my health and recovery following my race fall in March which left me with a serious brain injury and being in hospital for three weeks," she tweeted.

I will continue to focus on my physical and mental health and making a full recovery so I can return to racing and be the best person I can possibly be. I won't be making further comment."
Kah had been a nine-time Group 1 winner before her injuries earlier this year after a fall in the Sires Produces Stakes at Flemington. She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and was left flighting for her life.

Kah has no memory of the fall, or even being at the track that day and later revealed the true extent of her injuries.
"The main injury was bleeding in the brain. I was in a coma for I think about five days. I broke my wrist, which I didn't find out until a long time after the fall. And my foot was broken, and I think my nose," she told Channel 7.
"But that wasn't really relevant compared to the brain injury. When I fell, I was told I couldn't breathe for about 20 seconds or maybe more ... I was put in the induced coma and then I couldn't wake up because of the medication I was on, I just kept sleeping.
"I was whinging in the Epworth (Hospital) about my wrist and then they X-rayed again. They said, 'Your right wrist, it's broken!'. So yeah, I found out a long time after that my hand was broken as the focus was on getting my head right.
"I woke up in Epworth thinking I was 18 years old and that I lived in Adelaide again. I kept saying my address, which was my old address from back home in Adelaide. I could remember that, but they told me it was wrong, but I couldn't remember where I lived."
