After a successful Shapeshifters Team 1 release in FIFA 23, the Shapeshifters Team 2 squad is set to be released in Ultimate Team later today with some more big names.
After replacing the TOTS promo, Shapeshifters Team 1 did not disappoint in FUT, with EA releasing the first 99-rated card of FIFA 23 along with some other incredible players, interesting SBCs and fun Objectives. Team 1 also included FUT Icon Shapeshifters, with Pele, Socrates and Robin van Persie joining a 98-rated Virgil van Dijk, Bruno Fernandes and Antonio Rudiger in FUT Packs.
Shapeshifters is one of the biggest promos in the FUT calendar, with four different Shapeshifters squads being released in FIFA 22, including some of the highest-rated cards in FUT. Shapeshifters features a collection of high-rated special cards with position changes, and in FUT 23, some Shapeshifters items have 'Premium Chemistry', meaning they receive full chemistry in a FUT squad, as long as they are in the correct position.
Shapeshifters Team 2 is confirmed to be released into FUT later today at 6pm BST/ 1pm EDT/ 10am PDT. Here's a round-up of the latest Shapeshifters Team 2 leaks and their predicted positions.
FIFA 23 Shapeshifters Team 2 leaks
Reliable leakers @FUTSheriff and @UTSources have leaked the Shapeshifters Team 2 squad in full, but like the Team 1 leaks, without positions. Five more Icons are expected to be released as part of the Shapeshifters promo, with Garrincha and Samuel Eto'o potentially set to receive a 99-rated item, similar to Pele in Team 1.

And, according to the leaks, we are looking set to see some goalkeepers involved in Team 2, with Manuel Neuer, Pepe Reina and Guillermo Ochoa all leaked to receive Shapeshifter items. We may finally get a Neuer outfield item, which is very exciting!

We can also expect to see a bunch of exciting SBCs and Objectives released during the Shapeshifters Team 2 release, with a Swaps event-style event currently in the Season 7 Storyline Objectives. The rewards include 92-rated Thiago Silva and 97-rated Toni Kroos Shapeshifters items.
