It is not yet known on which date the four people died. Police were called by Maja's school at around 3.10pm Friday, 16 June, since they and her friends were concerned that she had not attended school since Monday June 12, and family members had not replied to messages.

Metropolitan Police officers forced entry to the family home – a flat in the Bedfont area of Hounslow - a short time later, where, tragically, the four bodies were found.
