We all dream of having a sparkly clean kitchen, but it's not always easy to get inside all the nooks and crannies.

One area that can be particularly tricky to keep spotless is the area between the stove and the kitchen worktop, as dirt and debris can get stuck down the side.

Luckily, Ellen Salib, a content creator who often shared hacks and cleaning tips online, has showed her little-known tip for getting to those hard-to-reach spots.

In a video where she shared the "spring cleaning hack," she showed how she used a butter knife inside a wet cloth to clean all the food particles and oil that gets trapped in-between the cracks.

She then demonstrated how the wet cloth fits perfectly into the gap between the oven and the counter, which you probably wouldn't be able to reach with traditional cleaning devices, or your hand.

It's easy to forget those hard-to-reach places, but it's important to give them a clean once in a while, and spring and summer is the perfect time.

One astounded TikTok user simply wrote: "This is amazing."

While you're on a kitchen cleaning spree, why not clean you're oven? According to a cleaning expert, you don't need harsh chemicals to clean inside your stove.

Dean Davies, an oven cleaning technician at Fantastic Services, explained that you can simply place a heat-resistant container of water inside the oven while it's still warm after cooking, let sit for 20 minutes, turn off the oven, let it cool completely, and then wipe with a damp cloth.

He added: "If you're dealing with extra greasy areas, mix up a homemade degreaser by combining two tablespoons of baking soda with one teaspoon of water. Add a few drops of essential oils for a pleasant scent in your kitchen."

You can pick up a tub of baking soda for just 65p at Tesco, or around £3 on Amazon if you're looking for next day delivery online.

Oven trays can be especially tricky to clean if you have let grease and grime build up. One hack, which was shared on the Mrs Hinch Facebook page, involves using dishwasher.

Let them soak for about 20 minutes with hot kettle water and then scrub gently.
