The most-stolen cars in Britain have been announced, as crooks discover new ways to target motorists.
Latest figures show one in every hundred Land Rovers were stolen between March 2022 and March 2023 with police losing the war against road crime.
Stats showed the models now most likely to be targeted by criminals - and the hardware they use has also been revealed.
Data over a 12-month period revealed 58,082 vehicles were recorded as stolen - that's an average of 159 per day.
Thieves use key fobs to steal the SUVs, which have a theft rate of 924 thefts per 100,000.

Ford, BMW, and then Audi were also on their hit list - with research showing black cars are the most common pinched.
The number of cars stolen jumped by 25 per cent last year, according to new analysis from AA Insurance.
Car hackers are now using hardware that could override a car's security system, The Times reports.
They said the devices, which are sold online for around £1,300, allow a 90-second get-away.
