As Liverpool's busy summer continues, some of the Reds' stars have been busy with their national teams,
Trent Alexander-Arnold was handed the number 10 shirt by England manager Gareth Southgate for Friday's Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta, and rose to the occasion. The Liverpudlian excelled, scoring the second goal in a 4-0 win which takes the Three Lions one step closer to a place in Germany next summer.
Others have been in action elsewhere, with Ibrahima Konate starting France's win in Gibraltar, while other international stars could yet find themselves moving to Anfield over the summer. Here are the latest transfer lines from around Anfield.
Mane coy on Newcastle links
Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane has appeared to leave the door open on a Premier League return.. Newcastle have been linked with the Senegal star, who has struggled since leaving Anfield for Bayern Munich.
Mane has been back in his home country at an EITI International conference. Also there was former MEP Martin Callahan, who claims to have received an interesting answer upon quizzing the 31-year-old.

“I’m in Senegal speaking at the EITI conference. Honoured to meet Sadio Mane in the hotel," Callahan said. "I couldn’t resist asking him about coming to Newcastle next season. His enigmatic reply: ‘Never say never!’”

Man Utd could impact Firmino move
Manchester Unitrd's transfer business could play a part in determining Roberto Firmino's next club. The Brazilian has yet to decide his future beyond the confirmation he will leave Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the month.

This is where Unitec come in. Old Trafford has emerged as a potential destination for France star Mbappe, and an audacious bid from the Red Devils could be enough for Real Madrid to turn back to Firmino.

Thuram hint noticed
Liverpool fans have got excited after noticing Khephren Thuram liking a post praising Trent Alexander-Arnold's England display. OGC Nice midfielder Thuram has been linked with a summer exit, with Anfield one potential destination after Jurgen Klopp's side saw several players leave this summer.
Alexis Mac Allister has joined from Brighton, but Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Leighton Clarkson have all moved on. There ought to be a vacancy for at lease one midfield addition, and Thuram would fit the bill.

According to L'Equipe, Thuram has been 'seduced' by Liverpool's plans. The 22-year-old, son of former France defender Lilian, made his senior debut for Les Bleus in March.
