After learning their Premier League fixture list for the upcoming season, Arsenal's attention will turn to their summer transfer business.

The window is now open, and all 20 teams in the Premier League will be making moves. Some have acted quickly, with Liverpool sealing a deal for Alexis Mac Allister, while others might not finish their business until deadline day after weeks of negotiations.

Arsenal's main focus appears to be in midfield, with Declan Rice very much on their radar, but that's not the only area the Gunners are looking at. Here, Mirror Football looks at the latest transfer lines from around North London.

Rice bid knocked back

Arsenal's initial approach for Declan Rice has been instantly knocked back by West Ham. The Hammers captain is expected to leave the London Stadium this summer, but his club have been left unsatisfied by the first bid.

With Manchester City also exploring the prospect of a move for the England star, a bidding war could yet break out. Rice is under contract until 2024, with an option for another year, but failure to agree new terms could yet see West Ham allow their captain to leave this summer.

Bayern Munich appear to be out of the running for the 24-year-old, who is away on international duty with England. However, with Manchester City potentially uniting him with some of his Three Lions colleagues, Arsenal could have a fight on their hands.

Arsenal's Havertz hope

Arsenal's pursuit of Kai Havertz is "going well," according to Sky Sports in Germany. The Chelsea star is expected to fetch a fee in the region of £60m, with the Blues refreshing their squad under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Real Madrid, who have completed a big-money move for Jude Bellingham, have also been linked with the former Bayer Leverkusen man. However, Arsenal are said to be leading the way.

The same report claims Bayern Munich are not currently considering joining the race. They were linked with the German international during his time at Leverkusen, but their attentions now lie elsewhere.

Nwaneri transfer worry

Arsenal are at risk of losing Ethan Nwaneri to a Premier League rival. The academy talent became the Premier League's youngest ever player when he made his debut at the age of 15 last season, but his long-term future is far from secure.

The teenager's schoolboy registration runs out at the end of June. While Arsenal have spoken highly of Nwaneri, an England under-17 international, he is yet to agree a new deal with the club.

According to The Athletic, several Premier League big-hitters are monitoring the situation including Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea. The Blues convinced Omari Hutchinson to move across London last summer, and the 19-year-old made his Premier League debut for the club against City in January.
