The suspect accused of killing three people during a knife and van rampage in Nottingham has been named locally as Valdo Amissão Mendes Calocane.
The 31-year-old, who graduated from the same university as the victims in 2022, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday.
A video filmed at the scene of the horror attack shows a man being detained by officers on the street next to a white van.
Witnesses described how he was Tasered by cops before being arrested.
University students Barnaby Webber and Grace Kumar, both 19, were stabbed to death around 4am on Ilkeston Road - just a few minutes from their homes.

Ian Coates, a primary school caretaker in his 60s, was also found dead with knife wounds near Mapperley Park, Nottingham, sometime after 5am.
His van had been stolen and he was fatally attacked just under two miles from the scene of the first two killings.
Around 5.30am the van was driven into three people waiting at a bus stop on Milton Street in the city centre.

One of those hit by the van remains in a critical condition in hospital, while the other two suffered only minor injuries.
It's reported that Calocane had studied mechanical engineering at the University of Nottingham and had graduated in 2022.

The newspaper reports he is so far refusing to co-operate with police examining the circumstances surrounding the attacks, which threatens to slow down the investigation.
Yesterday afternoon armed officers carried out a raid on a property on Ilkeston Road.
Nottinghamshire Police, which described the incident as "horrific and tragic", said detectives were not looking for anyone else in connection with the inquiry.

The witness said: “Being a hot night, I had the window open and I just heard some awful, blood-curdling screams.
A map showing where the attacks took place (Press Association Images)“I looked out of the window and saw a black guy dressed all in black with a hood and rucksack grappling with some people. It was a girl, and a man or boy she was with – they looked quite young.
“She was screaming: ‘Help!’ I just wish I’d shouted something out of the window to unnerve the assailant. I saw him stab the lad first and then the woman. It was repeated stabbing – four or five times."
He went on to say the male "collapsed" in the middle of the road, while the girl "stumbled towards a house and didn't move".
