With Brits currently contending with a sweltering heatwave, many are having to get creative with how to stay cool. Whether that be freezing a hot water bottle to keep you cool at night, or using tin foil to block out the sunlight from your home, there are lots of different hacks to try.
Another classic way of staying cool is by having an inflatable paddling pool in your garden, if you are lucky enough to have one. However, many with understand the frustration of blowing up your pool if you don't have a pump, which can cause you to sweat more profusely than the heatwave itself.

In a recent video, Casey Major-Bunce, who often posts nifty hacks on her TikTok account @majorbuncehome and Instagram account, also @majorbuncehome, shared her "best hack for summer".
In the video, Casey could be seen using a hair dryer and a cut-off bottle to create a pump that blows air directly into the swimming pool. She explained: "Don't have a pump this year to blow up your swimming pool or inflatables?

"Don't worry, I've got the best hack for you. By using half a bottle and a hairdryer [in cool] mode, you can fill it up in a matter of seconds. Also perfect if you're going abroad this year and you want to inflate inflatables."

It's important to make sure the hair dryer is on cool mode if attempting this hack.
Many were blown away by the mum's hack, with one person saying: "This hack saved me on vacation! Planning to use again soon!"
Another said: "Omg you [are] a genius!"
A third added: "Oh my god I've been blowing my head off all these years and I find this out when the kids have grown up."
"Actually the best hack I think I've ever seen," added a fourth.
