The Premier League's transfer window is officially open, with all 20 clubs looking to sign fresh talent this summer.
The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal will try to close the gap between themselves and holders Manchester City. At the other end of the table, Sheffield United, Luton and Burnley will try to stay up after promotion from the Championship.
Yet those Premier League clubs will have little chance of completing their objectives if they recruit poorly this summer. With that in mind, here is everything you need to know about the summer transfer window - including the exact moment it will close.
When does the summer transfer window close?
The Premier League's transfer window will officially close at 11pm on Friday, September 1.
The English Football League's (EFL) window will close at the same time.

Premier League and EFL clubs will not be able to sign players based overseas until the international window opens at midnight on Saturday, July 1.

When does the January transfer window open?
The January transfer window will open at midnight on Monday, January 1.
It will then close at 11pm on Thursday, February 1.
What are the big transfer stories?
Arsenal are trying to sign West Ham captain Declan Rice in a £100million deal, with Man Utd also interested in the England international.
Speaking to talkSPORT, West Ham owner David Sullivan has said: "We promised him [Rice] he could go. He set his heart on going... in due course, he has to get on and we have to get a replacement - or several replacements. It's not something we want to happen."
Man Utd are on the hunt for a new striker after Cristiano Ronaldo was released in November. Harry Kane is believed to be United's first-choice target, with Victor Osimhen, Goncalo Ramos and Rasmus Hojlund also on Erik ten Hag's shortlist.
Liverpool have already signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, but Jurgen Klopp wants to bring in another central midfielder. Targets include Chelsea duo Mason Mount (who is also wanted by Man Utd) and Conor Gallagher, as well as James Ward-Prowse.
Man City won the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup this season just gone, but Pep Guardiola will be after fresh talent. Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol is at the top of their transfer shortlist and is expected to cost around £75m from RB Leipzig.
Tottenham need a new goalkeeper following Hugo Lloris' departure and David Raya is believed to be their first-choice target. Brentford want £40m for the Spain international.
