Trump's aides said that they're afraid that the former president's call for a protest will lead to "disaster," with police and secret service confirming that they're expecting many in the crowd to be exercising their "open carry" rights.

“Inside of this event, there is going to be a disaster,” a Trump aide anonymously told the Daily Beast. “There are going to be people that come out that don’t want to be peaceful.”

The source added, “You get the fanatics coming out.”

Longtime Trump ally Roger Stone and far-right activist Laura Loomer will be leading the protest, which Trump himself called for last Sunday in an interview with Stone.

"Our country has to protest. We have plenty of protests to protest. We’ve lost everything," Trump told Stone during a radio interview.

While Trump has repeatedly asked for 'peaceful' protests - Miami PD is prepared for everything with extremely tight security, understanding how quickly events can get out of hand. Police say they expect thousands to show up.

However, various outlets have reported that media personnel far outnumber protestors - with hundreds of reporters milling about outside the courthouse.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said protestors should “stand strong” and suggested Democrats “want another insurrection,” adding, “They want to prove their lies about you when they call you domestic terrorists."

Laura Loomer, the far-right activist and former member of Project Veritas, said protestors “must be PEACEFUL, CIVIL AND LAWFUL,” adding they should “only show up if you respect and follow those rules.”

According to their social media posts, the Proud Boys are expected to show up in numbers at the protest.
