Manchester City have made history this season by becoming just the second English club ever to win the Treble.

Pep Guardiola's side kicked off their season of glory by claiming their third consecutive Premier League crown - beating Arsenal to the punch. Whilst not quite at their free-flowing best, an 89-point haul was still more than enough to see them named champions once more.

They then followed that up by winning the FA Cup against cross-city rivals Manchester United at Wembley Stadium. A double from captain Ilkay Gundogan defeated the Red Devils at Wembley.

Then, the big one. Man City finally ended their long wait for a European crown as they squeezed past Italian giants Inter Milan in Istanbul. Rodri was the eventual matchwinner for Guardiola's troops.

Since then, the squad, staff and supporters alike have been partying to toast the fact that they have now matched Man United's achievement back in 1999. Celebrations continue with an open-top bus parade across Manchester on Monday evening.

Norway striker Haaland, scorer of 52 goals in the season - and a record 36 in the Premier League - said: "I didn’t expect the season to be so good."

You might be thinking why the parade hasn't gotten underway yet.

Manchester City were forced to delay their open-top bus parade due to poor weather.

City completed an historic Treble by beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final in Istanbul on Saturday night. They have spent the hours since celebrating, with a private jet whisking them to Ibiza and back.

Parade delayed further

Manchester City's trophy parade has been hit with a further delay.

A statement from the club reads: "Due to reports of adverse weather conditions and localised lightning storms, which are expected to reach Manchester city centre shortly, the start of the trophy parade will be delayed until 19:00 (UK).

"This decision has been taken in the interests of safety by Manchester City Council in conjunction with the Club and other local stakeholders, who have consulted with meteorologists and the Met Office.

"Gates for the stage show on Oxford Street will now open at 18:30."

Supporters are ready

Grealish to be front and centre

Jack Grealish was still wearing the same shirt from Manchester City’s wild night out in Ibiza as he landed back in England ahead of the team’s victory parade.

City have been making the most of their celebrations after clinching an historic Treble by beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final in Istanbul on Saturday night. They have become the first side since Manchester United in 1999 to win the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup in the same season – and they have been revelling in their achievement.

After enjoying the victory inside the Ataturk Olympic Stadium with their supporters on Saturday, many of the squad jetted off to the Mediterranean island of Ibiza to continue partying. Unsurprisingly, England winger Grealish was at the front and centre of the celebrations, popping up with regularity on social media.
