Ahh, neighbours. Whether you love them or hate them, it's hard to escape them. So, it's well worth learning to get on with the people living next door. After all, they're probably not going anywhere anytime soon - and they can cause all sorts of mischief in the meantime.

From noise complaints to smelly cooking, neighbours regularly fall out over all sorts of stuff. But some of the most heated rows are caused by issues outside the home, or, more specifically, in front of it.

Homeowners hate nothing more than returning home to find someone has pinched their precious parking spot, and one neighbour learned their lesson the hard way.

In this case, the driver appears to have left their vehicle somewhere they were not supposed to.

Outraged, the so-called owner of the parking spot couldn't let the slight go - and plotted their cheeky revenge.

As seen in a photo discovered by Marvelousa.com, the parking spot 'owner' left a scathing note threatening the driver not to repeat their mistake.

It read: "The parking spot you are occupying is reserved for me. I have photographed your licence plate, but have not called for the tow truck... this time.

"Next time, I will Vaseline your door handles and wiper blades and THEN call the tow truck. Sound fair. Right. Enjoy your close call tonight."

Whatever happened next - and if the neighbour's sticky revenge plot came to fruition - remains to be seen.

But it certainly won't be the last time drivers go to extremes to protect their parking spots. One homeowner previously wrapped a neighbour's car in black cellophane after it was left outside his house - blocking his drive - for over 24 hours.

Thankfully, the prank amused his neighbour, who learned her lesson. Tobe Bailey explained: "She was very apologetic. "She said 'very funny' and said she won't park there again."

"It only took her a few minutes to take the wrap off and her car was cleaner after because of it," he added.
