LETTERS: 'I believe Prince Harry and Prince Andrew should keep their titles'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be stripped of their Duke and Duchess title as a Conservative MP is set to introduce a bill to remove their status.

Tory MP Bob Seely has accused the prince of attacking important British institutions as well as "trashing his family and monetising his misery for public consumption".

The backbencher has said he would present a Private Member’s Bill to the House of Commons to get their royal status downgraded.

This comes as Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, contained a number damaging revelations about senior members of the Royal Family - including claims that Prince William physically attacked him.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew reportedly wants his HRH title reinstated, despite stepping down from royal duties last year in the wake of his sex scandal.

The late Queen Elizabeth II agreed her son could use the title “in private capacity” after it was announced that his military titles and royal patronages would be returned to the monarch at the height of the Virginia Giuffre allegations.

Royal sources have claimed that Andrew could start using his HRH again in a “low-key” way, should he receive consent from his brother King Charles.

"I believe Prince Harry and Prince Andrew should keep their titles.

"I admire them for their military service, and I am thinking of the children they leave behind, it would be horrible to have them live with such a legacy."
