A man has been arrested for allegedly flashing at a London train station, and then was also found to be carrying nunchucks in a rucksack.

Police were called following a report by a woman that people were being flashed at Queens Road Peckham station last Tuesday.

The alleged offender was located by officers and arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.

British Transport Police have also said that he was "further arrested" after being found to be carrying nun chucks in his rucksack.

It tweeted: "Yesterday a woman reported a man flashing people at Queens Road Peckham station in #London. Our officers swiftly attended, located the man and arrested him on suspicion of indecent exposure.

The police also said that there is "simply no place on the rail network for sexual offenders" and urged people to report incidents.

It tweeted: "There is simply no place on the rail network for sexual offenders. If you witness behaviour such as this, we urge you to report it to us by texting 61016."

Nunchuks are a traditional Japanese martial arts weapon with two sticks usually made of wood which are connected by a short metal chain or rope.

They became well known after being used in martial arts films by Bruce Lee and are considered to be an offensive weapon under English law.
