Eamonn Holmes revealed his wife Ruth Langsford is "still in touch" with Phillip Schofield's former lover.
The GB News presenter previously hosted This Morning on Fridays with Ruth before being replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
Eamonn has been hitting out at Phillip since he announced he was stepping down from his role on the ITV programme after 21 years.
A couple of days after stepping down, Phillip admitted he had an "unwise" but "not illegal" affair with a younger ITV colleague.
Following the shocking admission, Eamonn furiously hit out at his former co-host in a bombshell interview with Dan Wootton on GB News.

Eamonn was also asked about the unnamed young man, who had moved from working on This Morning to Loose Women.

"There’s an incredible duty of care that needs to go towards that young man."
The 63-year-old went on to describe the male colleague as a "lovely fella, really good talented fella."
"Are you still in touch with the young colleague? And is he doing okay?" Dan asked Eamonn.
He responded: "I'm not, Ruth is. I think life's tough for him."
In a bombshell statement, Phillip admitted to the affair but refused to name his former colleague.

Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over."
