An overnight shooting at an Ohio sports bar resulted in one fatality and left four individuals injured.
The incident occurred at the Inferno Sports Bar in Columbus, and this incident marked the city's first homicide of the year.
The Columbus Police Department and firefighters swiftly responded to the scene on Highway 45 after receiving a distressing 911 call around 11:45 p.m. on Friday.
Authorities were met with a chaotic situation as they arrived at the sports bar, as they found one dead at the bar, while the four surviving victims were rushed to hospital, WTVA reports.
According to Police Chief Joseph Daughtry, the identities of the victims were disclosed as:

- Gregory Morris, 48, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest
- Roderick Williams, 39, who was grazed in the shoulder
- Nikita Chandler, 38, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest
- Amber Shirley, 30, who had a bullet fragment lodged in her foot.
The current conditions of the survivors are unknown at this time.
Chief Daughtry said: "This was not a random act of violence.
"There was an ongoing disagreement with those involved, and they happened to see each other at the business."
It appears that the shooting was a result of a targeted attack stemming from an unresolved conflict between the individuals involved.
Law enforcement authorities are still working to identify and apprehend the shooter responsible for this incident.
As the investigation unfolds, the Columbus Police Department urges anyone with information related to the shooting or the whereabouts of the suspect to come forward and assist law enforcement.
