Kate Middleton has told of a “nightmare” eating habit by Prince William that gets on her nerves.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been releasing videos on social media that give an insight into their lives at their London home.

In one film posted on their YouTube channel detailing footage from King Charles' celebratory Coronation weekend - William, Kate and their two younger children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis can be seen getting ready to attend the crowning at Kensington Palace.

And it led some royal fans to wonder more about the lifestyles of the couple and how they behave together at home.

One habit that clearly rankles with Kate is over the way William eats pizza on the sofa.

When the royal pair were visiting an RAF base in Cyprus in 2018, Kate told how William was a “nightmare” over the way he ate the takeaway, reported the Express.

While they were opening a new recreation facility at the base, William warned: “Keep the pizza off the sofas.”

And Kate added: “You’re a nightmare with that.”

The couple clearly enjoy pizzas having shown their love of them during a visit to Wales last month which saw them stay overnight and spent the the evening at Dowlais Rugby Club near Methyr Tydfil.

And they were pictured heading out to a Little Dragon Pizza Van in the car park and ordering 12 pizzas that they shared with the mountain rescue team there.

The order, which included three margharita, three pepperoni, three BBQ chicken and three goats cheese came to more than £120.

The royals carried the pizzas into the rugby club for the rescuers and met other members of the team and community.

And as well as pizzas, curry is another favourite.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1 in 2017, Kate was asked if the family order takeaways - as well as what was her favourite.

Kate replied: "Absolutely, and curry, definitely!"

She also revealed that, while she likes spicy dishes, William doesn't share her love of hot curries.

And William told ex-football star Peter Crouch on his podcast in 2020 that he is "not a vindaloo man put it that way" and prefers a chicken masala.
