A Victoria's Secret model has shared a series of heartbreaking videos as she documents her grandmother's decision to end her life.

Ali Tate Cutler, who became the clothing brand's first plus-sized model, broke down in tears as she took to Instagram and TikTok to open up about her grandmother's choice to be euthanised.

Ali's grandmother, who she sweetly calls Bubbie, suffers from terminal cancer and said she can finally see "the light at the end of the tunnel".

The model travelled to Canada, where euthanasia is legal, to visit her grandma and ask her about her decision to be euthanised.

In one clip, Bubbie opened up about the questions she had to answer before being allowed to sign up for the procedure.

"Your diagnosis is if it's fatal, how many more months you have; they give you time to consider. They keep stressing the fact that you can always change your mind," she explained.

Explaining her decision, Bubbie said: "I came in quietly, I'd like to go out quietly."

She added how she was "looking forward to putting an end to being dependent" on others and having "no control".

Ali's grandmother said she believes she will be able to see her late husband once again once she goes through with the fatal injections.

"I do believe my husband is there saying it's about time. And I'll say, 'Hi hun, I'm here'."

Another video showed the pair getting ready for their final dinner date together.

It's not clear when Bubbie plans to end her life, but Ali shared a video to TikTok on Friday as she broke down in tears over saying goodbye to her grandmother.

"These last 4 days have been so hard," she wrote over the top of the clip.

"I'm trying to stay positive for Bubbie, but I'm about to say goodbye forever at the airport tomorrow."

In the caption, she added: "Being able to cry with her has been a blessing. But its the finality of death that is repeating on a loop in my mind."

Euthanasia has been permitted in Canada since 2016, under a program called Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).
