Red Devils eye first summer transfer
Man United are ready to double Jack Butland ’s wages to make his loan move at Old Trafford permanent.
The English goalkeeper penned a six-month deal with the Red Devils in January to provide more competition following Martin Dubravka’s January recall. He has yet to make a single appearance for the club but that has not stopped United from wanting to make the deal permanent.
It is reported that Scottish giants Rangers are interested and are ready to offer a contract. However, the Red Devils want to retain Butland and would be willing to double any forthcoming offer from Ibrox.

Enrique de Lucas claims that the Spaniards only have themselves to blame for the switch. Speaking to Ole, he said: “I think that Spain is a closed issue and there is no hiding it.
"Very bad management by the Spanish Federation, I don’t know who, or I can guess who, but very bad management or very bad politics. And I think Garna is not going to be the only case in which a player with dual nationality could lose, I honestly tell you."
