Jon Rahm has admitted he does not care about the ongoing saga between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, after the Masters champion was reunited with Phil Mickelson at this week's PGA Championship.

The battle between the PGA Tour and LIV has dominated the world of professional golf over the past year, with the sport torn in two. Rahm remained loyal to the American-based circuit, and has won four PGA Tour titles since including his maiden green jacket at Augusta last month.

A number of the Spaniard's fellow stars have been quick to criticise those who have made the controversial switch to the Saudi-backed league, but Rahm has for the most part remained neutral.

He was once again pressed on the issue at this week's PGA Championship, but reiterated his stance. Rahm commented: "I didn't really care in that sense. I never got into the feud. I've never had any negative feelings towards any player that went over to LIV."

The Masters champion even revealed he had remained friends with many of his LIV rivals, including the breakaway circuit's biggest name Mickelson, who he attempted to join for some practice at Oak Hill this week. "I've mentioned many times I still play with many of them," he added.

"[I] tried to play practice rounds with Phil [Mickelson], played with Talor Gooch yesterday. Really doesn't make a difference to me. That's why my point of view, nothing changed." Despite his neutral stance, the LIV debate with Rahm continued.

As a result, the 11-time PGA Tour winner was asked how he saw the future of professional golf with LIV Golf's one year anniversary approaching. Once again though Rahm kept his cards close to his chest. He added: "I have no idea. I wouldn't be able to tell you.

"It all depends who you talk to. If you talk to a LIV player, this is going to be great, it's only going to get better. You talk to people on the other side, in two years they're going to be done.

"I really couldn't tell you. I have no clue. I really have no clue. I really don't know what to say. Obviously they're trying their hardest to be a little bit different, and it could pay off or not. I really don't know."
