A young woman who was kidnapped by her abusive ex-boyfriend and left with life-changing brain damage 'rolled down the road like a football' after falling from a van at 60mph, it has been revealed.
Angel Lynn was just 19 years old when she was left unable to speak or move following the horrific incident on the A6 near Loughborough, Leicestershire in September 2020.
The devastating impact saw her ejected from the vehicle at high speed after being bundled into a van by ex-boyfriend Chay Bowskill, then 20, who had subjected her to months of controlling and abusive behaviour.
This included constant harassment over text and violent outbursts in-person, including one incident where he pushed her so hard into a wall so hard that she suffered a fit.

Later in the episode, mum Nikki Lynn shares what she was told of the horrifying impact her daughter suffered upon being ejected from the vehicle.

Nikki also revealed how she "fell on the floor" when she opened the curtain on her daughter at the intensive care unit, as photographs showed Angel's face swollen and unresponsive after medics shaved her head to give her treatment.

Angel's mum refutes the suggestion that Angel would have jumped to try and escape the kidnapping, as she was a competent driver who would have understood the dangers of exiting the vehicle at such speed.
