A notorious 'gimp' who has plagued villages dressed in a rubber suit has been arrested yet again after jumping out at terrified locals in his latex outfit.
The menace - known in the area as the 'Somerset Gimp' - has been stalking communities for a number of years and police have taken action again.
Authorities have been called on more than 20 occasions since 2016 after reports the sinister odd-ball had chased people walking home alone at night whilst grunting.
The suspect has previously been arrested on numerous occasions and has been taken back into custody.
Police now say they were called by a member of the public at 12.07am this morning after a man in his 30s was acting bizarrely.

Police this morning arrested him once again (BPM Media)They reported ''a man wearing latex had jumped out in front of her vehicle on Accommodation Road'' in the village of Bleadon.
A police spokesman said: ''A man is currently in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance following an incident in Bleadon overnight.
''A member of the public called us at 12.07am to report a man wearing latex had jumped out in front of her vehicle on Accommodation Road.
''Officers arrived at the scene three minutes after the call was received and located and detained a man aged in his 30s nearby.
He is now accused of targeting people in Cleeve, Somerset (DANIEL JAE WEBB / SWNS)''The man has previously been arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance in relation to incidents in the Cleeve, Claverham and Yatton areas in October last year.
''He remains under investigation for these incidents.''
Inspector Graeme Hall, of the neighbourhood policing team, said: “We understand this latest incident may cause the community some concern.
“We took this morning’s report extremely seriously and had officers on the scene within minutes which ultimately led to the arrest being made.

He was arrested last year and Avon and Somerset police are said to be ‘keeping an open mind about the intentions of the man and whether the incident is linked to any others’.

One claimed the masked stranger was ‘flopping on the floor, writhing and grunting’, in the early hours of the morning.
