'My friends came to stay and brought their dog unannounced - it's inappropriate'
Many people have experienced the dreaded guests who easily overstay their welcome in your home without an invitation.
However, one woman has claimed that her guests have taken matters to a new extreme after bringing along an additional visitor without even asking permission.
Taking to the popular forum site Mumsnet, the anonymous user explained that her house guests are 'coming this weekend' and are bringing their pet dog despite not having asked if it's appropriate.
The woman - who has pet cats - is fearful that her furry friends will be 'exiled' for the duration of the stay despite it being in their own home.

'I don't want children staying up late at weekends - I really need adult time'
"They don't have a crate," she added.
Seeking advice from Mumsnet users, the woman questioned: "Am I being unreasonable to think you ask if it's ok you don't just assume?"
Since sharing her concerns, the post has raked in over 200 comments to date - where people assured the woman that she wasn't being unreasonable.
One person advised: "Just say no."
Meanwhile, someone else agreed: "I'd be saying no tbh. Why didn't you?"
"Tell them to turn round and go back. It's NOT okay to do this without checking," a third added.
On the other hand, a different Mumsnet user thought of an appropriate solution as they suggested: "Assuming you have a yard enforce the dogs being outside until bedtime."
Sharing her own first-hand advice, someone else said: "We once had some friends who just turned up with a dog. My husband was very blunt and just said, 'you can't bring your dog in the house'.
"It was just for an evening meal so they left the dog in the car," they added.
