Coronation Concert viewers were quick to point out how different boyband Take That looked when they appeared backstage at the gig.

Gearing up to storm the stage in the grounds of Windsor Castle to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and his wife Queen Camilla, the trio looked very different.

The hitmakers could be seen chatting to Clara Amfo at the start of the televised broadcast, with viewers pointing out how "unrecognisable" they looked.

Singing sensations Gary Barlow, 52, Howard Donald, 55, and Mark Owen, 51, could be seen backstage at around 8pm as they chatted about how honoured they felt to perform at the event.

"Take that have gotten really old really quick," penned one fan as they tuned into the programme aired on BBC One.

A second added: "When did Take That get so old??"

While a third said: "I’m just watching this and thinking ‘Take That got old’ and therefore I am old."

"Can't believe Mark Owen actually looks much older than Gary Barlow and Howard Donald when he is the youngest," wrote a fourth in disbelief.

"Out of the three Gary Barlow has definitely aged the best," penned a fifth.

While a sixth added: "Always pleasing to know that Gary Barlow has aged faster than me!"

And a seventh said: "Awww. Take That looking a bit old. Sorry Robbie isn’t with them."

Take That were formed in Manchester in 1990, meaning they have been in the public eye for 33 years.

The group currently consists of Gary, Howard and Mark, but the original line-up also featured Jason Orange and Robbie Williams.
