Three seconds when 'emotional' Charles' mood changed, according to expert
It's a moment he's been preparing for his whole life, and so it's easy to imagine that King Charles III would have felt an array of emotions on the day of his Coronation.
As much as this was a public ceremony, the grand service at Westminster Abbey was likely a very personal experience for the 74-year-old monarch.
It would also have been a poignant reminder of loved ones who have gone before, such as his late mother Queen Elizabeth II, who was anointed at the exact same spot decades earlier.

According to expert Darren Stanton, who spoke on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Charles experienced a 'significant emotional shift' during a 'proud' moment with his eldest son, William, Prince of Wales.

Stanton revealed: "William was quite emotional, especially when he went up to pledge his allegiance to his dad. You can see there was a real depth in their connection in that moment and the way they maintained prolonged eye contact signifies the familial bond they share."
It's thought this moment would have 'meant a lot' to King Charles (Getty Images)He continued: "Charles when he was looking at William, you could see he was ever so slightly welling up. There was also a blushing in his cheeks which signifies an emotional shift. This moment clearly meant a lot to him, with his body language suggesting internal feelings of immense pride."
This touching moment in question happened just after the St Edward's Crown was placed on King Charles' head by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Prince William, who is now next in line to the throne, could be seen kneeling before his father to pledge a solemn oath of allegiance before kissing him affectionately on the cheek.
In his oath, the prince declared: "I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God."
