Arsenal face a tough test on Sunday as they take on Newcastle United at St James's Park in what is possibly the toughest of their remaining league fixtures.

The Gunners retook first place with 3-1 a win against Chelsea on Tuesday before Man City responded with a 3-0 win at home against West Ham to retake top spot. The title race is out of the Gunners' hands, but they know any slip ups for treble chasing City could open the door for an unlikely title win.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are in a strong position in third place, with little chance of being caught from teams outside the top four, but will want to keep pushing to avoid being caught by fourth placed Man United. The Magpies have eight wins in their last nine matches and have lost once at home this season, topping the form table for the last three matches with 13 goals scored.

This presents a formidable test for Arsenal in their quest to win for a second successive match. They lost at St James's Park last May, however, with a 2-0 defeat to Howe's side dealing a huge blow to their chances of Champions League qualification that season, before a draw at the Emirates this season.

It is sure to be a fascinating match and here is all the information on how you can follow the action.

Team news:

Newcastle could welcome back Sean Longstaff and Allan St Maximin for the match, with the pair having suffered short-term setbacks last month. However, they remain without Emil Krafth and club captain Jamal Lascelles has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Arsenal, meanwhile, should have Gabriel Maghalles back for the match after he limped off against Chelsea on Tuesday. However, they will expect to be without the injured William Saliba, who may return before the end of the season but not this weekend. Meanwhile, there are still long-term absentees in the form of Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
