Celebrities have been getting into the Coronation spirit as they celebrate the historic day.

Stars have been taking to social media to reveal how they have been celebrating King Charles III's Coronation.

Former Spice Girl Mel B is no stranger to the King as she has met him on more than one occasion.

She posed with guards at Westminster Abbey and took to her Instagram Stories to share the moment as she wore a dark green floor-length dress with a side split.

Meanwhile, fellow band member Victoria Beckham recalled meeting him by posting to her social media where she shared throwbacks.

She wrote alongside: "From then to now! I have so many fond memories of meeting His Majesty throughout my career, and he is always so supportive and kind.

Paris Fury showed her fans that she had created royal costumes for her children.

She took them to nursery in home-made fancy dress, with one of her sons wearing a plastic crown and chunky gold chain necklace with a red cape.

Amanda Holden had her own Coronation party set-up with bunting, a pot of tea, and a royal themed Colin the caterpillar cake.

Catherine Zeta-Jones showed fans that she was watching the King's Coronation while in bed drinking a cup of tea.

Gemma Collins hosted an afternoon tea for her family at home in her garden with masks of King Charles' and Prince William's faces.

The night before the Coronation, Gemma posed outside an empty Buckingham Palace grounds, where barriers had been put up ready for the big day.

She wrote on Instagram: "It was such a beautiful night in london tonight #coronation".

Former TOWIE star Mario Falcone posted a photo of himself chilling at home with the ceremony on his television.

Dr Alex George watched the ceremony from the comfort of his home and joked about King Charles' carriage journey as he posted a photo saying: "Not your average Uber ride!"

Made In Chelsea star Binky Felstead is enjoying the day with her three young children, watching the coronation at home.

Vanessa Feltz shared a throwback photo of herself meeting King Charles to mark the occasion.

The day before his Coronation, she took to Instagram to say: "'One more sleep!"

Meanwhile, Ulrika Jonsson joked about the special day as she posted a snap of her pet bulldog wearing a crown and captioned it: "King Leo."

King Charles III was officially crowned in his Coronation at Westminster Abbey.

He became the 40th reigning sovereign to be crowned at the Abbey, which has been the nation's coronation church since 1066.
