The Duke of York faced the wrath of some onlookers who vocalised their distaste for him from the grandstand in front of Buckingham Palace.
There is no role at the Coronation for King Charles' disgraced younger brother - though he will be in attendance for the service at Westminster Abbey.
Buckingham Palace had earlier said Andrew and his nephew the Duke of Sussex would not have any formal role at the event as they are no longer working royals.
Andrew stepped away from public life after a controversial Newsnight interview in November 2019 and the furore over his friendship with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Virginia Giuffre also sued Andrew for allegedly sexually assaulting her when she was 17 after she was trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew denied the claims but paid millions in an out-of-court settlement in the US civil case.

Invited guests include David and Victoria Beckham, French President Emmanuel Macron, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and US First Lady Jill Biden but her husband President Joe Biden will not be attending.

The day will be a display of pomp and pageantry, with the nation's Armed Forces promising a "spectacular" event when the King and Queen process through the streets of the capital.
The event is the military's largest ceremonial operation since Queen Elizabeth II's 1953 coronation, with 9,000 servicemen and women deployed and 7,000 of these performing ceremonial and supporting roles.
