Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are rewarding the Wrexham stars with a trip to Las Vegas after securing promotion back to the EFL - and Paul Mullin admits his partner isn't "too happy" about it.
The Red Dragons lifted the National League title last month with a 3-1 victory over Boreham Wood thanks to an Elliot Lee strike and Mullin's brace. There were jubilant scenes at the Racecourse Ground as thousands of fans stormed the pitch, while Reynolds and McElhenney cut emotional figures in the stands.
Wrexham ended the campaign with a 1-1 draw at Torquay on Saturday to finish on 111 points, four ahead of Notts County after an enthralling battle at the top of the division. Both sides broke the fifth-tier points tally but it was the Red Dragons who will go up as champions to League Two.
As a reward, Reynolds and McElhenney are treating the players to a mega-money trip to Las Vegas. Mullin, who scored 38 league goals this season, opened up on their reward for winning promotion and claimed his partner may not be best pleased when they depart for the US.
"I don't know if I can say it yet but we're off to Vegas," Mullin told the Footballers' Football podcast, via ESPN. "It should be unbelievable, that's literally what [the owners] were texting me about two minutes ago.

"I don't think she (his partner) is too happy about it, but if the owners tell you you've got to go, you've got to go."
Shaun Harvey, an advisor to Wrexham's board, had already declared previously: "There is a trip to Las Vegas being mooted."
And Ben Foster, who came out of retirement shortly before his 40th birthday to help Wrexham over the line, told CBS Sports: "They've promised us a monster one [party] at the end of the season. If we get promoted, they're gonna take us away somewhere with a lot of flashing lights."

Wrexham will also travel to the United States for a pre-season tour in July. They are set to face Manchester United, Chelsea and LA Galaxy when they fly out to the North America.
They are already being tipped for another promotion tilt next term, with the Welsh side's owners expected to invest again in the playing squad this summer.
