A 45-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after another woman was stabbed with a bottle on Friday.
Shelley Hill has been charged after the incident on a street in Leicester and will appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police and the East Midlands Ambulance Service were called after a woman in her 40s was stabbed.
She was rushed to hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
Detective Sergeant Nick Woodrow said: “We have carried out a number of enquiries but our investigation into this incident is still continuing.

"If you were in the area of Yeoman Street on Friday evening and saw anything or have CCTV or dash cam footage which you think could assist us please make contact.”
