In upcoming scenes, Sonia mistakenly thinks Reiss is planning a big party for her and it's not long before she tells Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) how thrilled she is to have someone who really cares about her.
Sonia's crushed when she realises Reiss was planning a party to celebrate King Charles' Coronation and not her birthday.
The EastEnders stalwart becomes increasingly annoyed when Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) makes a big romantic gesture for Kathy while Reiss continues to focus on his royal celebration.

Later in the week, Rocky tells Reiss why Sonia is so annoyed with him and the Walford newcomer goes overboard to celebrate her birthday.
However, official spoiler pictures have revealed that Sonia is finally set to learn the full truth about her new lover.
Rocky begins to grow suspicious of Reiss and warns Sonia against trusting him completely when she knows so little about him.
The nurse sets out to find the truth but is devastated when she finally discovers what Reiss has been hiding from her.

Meanwhile, some fans suspect Reiss is hiding a sad truth about his marriage as one Reddit user shared a theory in an EastEnders forum.
They wrote: "Rocky may have walked out on his wife, but I think Reiss's circumstances are different. I think Reiss' wife lives in an assisted living facility, while this may be a bit depressing it is a story that to the best of my knowledge EastEnders hasn't tackled before."
