Gogglebox star Sid Siddiqui confessed he "doesn't feel safe" as he opened up about his struggles with his local GP.
The TV personality, 75, took to Twitter to reveal his nightmare phone call to a clinic that left him waiting for almost two hours.
He revealed: "This morning I waited 1 hour 55 mins in a telephone queue at my GP surgery, only to be told there are no appointments left for the day and I should start again tomorrow at 8.
"I don’t feel safe and protected under NHS anymore."
His followers rushed to share their experiences with the NHS as well as send their well wishes to the star.

One said: “I'm sorry, Sid. Thank you for making it public.”

The TV star worked for the NHS for 37 years before moving on to the Channel 4 show.

Retired engineer Sid, who moved from Pakistan aged 16, has been married to wife Nasreen for 39 years.
The couple also has two daughters, but none of them appeared on the show.

Sid said: “I think it is quite cute in a way that a father and his sons – it could be father and daughters although they are shy, so they don’t come on – watch TV together.
