Liverpool will look to continue their resurgence in the Premier League when they travel to London to face West Ham on Wednesday night.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are hoping to climb up the table and secure qualification for a European competition following a topsy-turvy campaign so far. They are unbeaten in their past four Premier League matches and have won the past two, against Leeds and Nottingham Forest, to move up to seventh place.
West Ham are unlikely to prove easy competition, with David Moyes’ side having moved clear of relegation trouble with a decent run of their own. The Hammers have lost just one of their past 10 games in all competitions and are full of confidence after thrashing Bournemouth 4-0 on Sunday.
The home team may well fancy their chances against Liverpool from set pieces, after Forest caused them lots of difficulties from long throw-ins in their 3-2 defeat on Saturday. Michail Antonio and Declan Rice both scored from corners against Bournemouth and Klopp is aware of the threat.
"We have to still improve ourselves. We can't talk about consistency after winning two games, especially when you win a game like the last one,” he said in his pre-match press conference.
