Frank Lampard will aim to end a four-game losing streak when his Chelsea side host local rivals Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Lampard was re-appointed by the Blues on a caretaker basis earlier this month but is struggling to get a tune out of his struggling team. He's lost all four of his games in charge, including both legs of a Champions League quarter-final against holders Real Madrid.

Chelsea are 11th in the Premier League table, one place lower than Brentford. The Bees have enjoyed a brilliant campaign under Thomas Frank, but they have struggled for form of late - failing to win any of their last six Premier League games.

It's impossible to say which way Wednesday night's game at Stamford Bridge will go. With that in mind, here is everything you need to know about the fixture...

The Bees have a good record against Chelsea in the Premier League. Although the Blues won their first encounter 1-0, Frank's side recorded a sensational 4-1 victory at Stamford Bridge a year ago. The two teams played out a goalless draw in Brentford in October.

Chelsea vs Brentford team news

Chelsea defender Reece James will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury, while Mason Mount will struggle to feature again before the summer with a pelvic complaint. Lampard confirmed the disappointing news at a press conference on Tuesday.

"Reece James will be unavailable for the rest of the season, Mason Mount the same," Lampard told reporters. "Reece had a hamstring injury in the midweek game," added Lampard. "He got through it but then had a scan and he's out.

"Mason has been carrying a pelvic injury for a while. It predates myself and he has been trying typically but he will have minor surgery, then a four-week recovery. He might make the last match but that's unlikely, which is obviously disappointing for us."

Chelsea will also be without Kalidou Koulibaly (hamstring), Kai Havertz (knee) and Armando Broja (knee) on Wednesday night. Brentford, meanwhile, are still missing long-term absentees Pontus Jansson (hamstring) and Keane Lewis-Potter (knee).

Frank will also be without Kristoffer Ajer (calf) Christian Norgaard (Achilles) and Thomas Strakosha (calf), but Kevin Schade is fit after coming off during the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa with "fatigue".
