Amir Khan's rocky marriage with wife Faryal, 'cheating' claims and Twitter split
Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom's marriage has been far from straightforward, with the pair having overcome numerous 'cheating' scandals and a full-blown split.
The couple married almost 10 years ago in a lavish million-pound ceremony, with the 'whole of Bolton' in attendance - including the ice-cream van man.
Amir - who is appearing on I'm A Celeb for the second time in their new All Stars series - revealed to his campmates on Tuesday that if he could have his big day all over again, he'd prefer an intimate service with just the two of them.
The former professional boxer said: "I ended up doing mine [my wedding] in Hello magazine.

The 36-year-old added: "I think the whole of Bolton must be there. I didn't even get to enjoy it, to be honest with you.
"It was that busy, that many people there, it was like a massive gala, like a big event happening."
The couple have come a long way since first being introduced by a mutual friend.
Even their first date at the Mayfair Hotel in London in September 2011 didn't go smoothly - as they were pulled over by police while in Amir's Rolls-Royce.
Just a week later, he flew over to New York, where Faryal is from, to surprise her. And two years after in 2013, they tied the knot in his Greater Manchester hometown.

But as Faryal, 31, put it in their BBC Three series Meet the Khans: Big in Bolton - "We've been through hell and back."
Allegations of Amir's cheating included flings while they were engaged and while Faryal was pregnant - claims he denied - along with allegations of a threesome and online sex chats.
The pair split briefly in 2017 before reconciling.
Amir went public about their breakup on social media before accusing his wife of moving quickly on with former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.

"So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I'm currently in Dubai. I wish her all the best," he wrote.
"Faryal moved on quickly. She always mentioned how much she wanted to be with another guy, another boxer from all people, another boxer? @anthonyfjoshua.

He was then accused of an affair with Sophia Hammani, which he denied"Lol moved up in the weight classes lol. Trust me. I'm not the jealous type. No need to send me pictures of the men you're talking to #disgusted.
"Left my family and friends for this Faryal. I'm not hurt but another fighter. I'm making it public. You are getting the divorce #Golddigger.
"Man like Joshua can have my leftovers!"
Faryal responded savagely: "Accusing other boxers just because your boxing career is finished. Man up, Amir.
"After all these years, I've always defended a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back. And I'm called a gold digger?
“I'm not the one who's been in the papers every month with my pants down ???? Cheater!"

Remarkably, the pair recovered from the upset.
But in 2018, the former I'm a Celebrity star was again forced to deny claims he'd cheated.
The pro boxer was accused of sleeping with beautician Sophia Hammani just days after the birth of his second child.
Hammani claimed she had spent the night with him, but Khan's version of events was very different.
"She was wanting a pic but was told to leave by security due to her being too drunk," he said.
Amir and Faryal both say they have moved on from their troubled past (PA)Speaking in the 2021 BBC documentary, Faryal explained how she fought to make their marriage work for the sake of their children.
She said: "Me being a young girl, I would feel kind of betrayed. My marriage did go into a really bad place where it was like, 'That's it, there is no turning back'.
"But I found out I was pregnant with my second child, so she was like such a blessing, my little angel. I thought, 'For my children's sake, I'm going to make this work'."
Throughout the 'Big in Bolton series, the pair acknowledged their ups and downs - but have turned things around for good.

"Amir was so famous and so young when I first started dating him and married him, and now it's like... he's an old man!"
Addressing the cheating allegations, Faryal later explained: "He [Amir] was never able to enjoy his youth because of all his hard work, so he never really got it out of his system. He'd get caught in the wrong places."
In agreement, Amir added: "When you have three kids, it changes your responsibilities. I've had that crazy life before, now I'm a changed man."
