Emmerdale Caleb's next move leaves Nicky reeling as pair set to be exposed

Emmerdale spoilers have teased Caleb's next move will leave his son Nicky reeling next week.

Fans of the ITV soap are still reeling after learning that the pair are related - as well as their connection to Frank Tate, and their wish to bring Kim Tate down and take all her money for her, thinking it's rightfully theirs.

The pair have made a huge plan to steal the money back, but will it be successful - and what are they risking for this?

Soap spoilers for next week have teased Caleb's latest move will left Nicky shocked, but what will it be and what will it mean for their partnership? Is everything ok between the pair or are tensions starting to flare?

Caleb's next move shocks Nicky!

Asked when all will be revealed, Executive Producer Jane Hudson recently told The Mirror and other press: "Soon, very, very soon. There is not long to go, it will be after the Coronation but before the soap week."

It is not known whether she is referring to the soap week that usually takes place before the Soap Awards, in around May or June time, or the one that usually takes place in October and is always quite the spectacle for Emmerdale.

Jane also teased there are more secrets to come out - but what does this mean for them?

"We have revealed who Nicky is, there is still something else to find out but I'm not going to tell you. Not all the secrets have been revealed yet," she said, "There is something else we are going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky's past who turns up as well and we will be left wondering what this means for Gabby."

Nicky and Caleb have a master plan!

Whenever it happens, there are set to be "fireworks" in store as the secrets come out.

Will teased: "It could be a bit of a burden for them both as there's a foot in both families. It's really clever that they’ve used that device to see how much disruption these characters can cause. There’s always been that clash between the Tates and the Dingles but it will really ramp it up now! It’s really big what Caleb and Nicky are attempting to do so there are a lot of fireworks ready to go off."

Actors Will Ash and Lewis Cope - who play Caleb and Nicky - says the relationship between the pair makes things more interesting.

"You start to see the reasons why they are in the village, then you start seeing the relationship between the two of them and how they live, which is really interesting," Lewis explained of the dynamic between the two.

Will added of what's to come for the duo as their secret is revealed: "The audience will start to see more layers to them and little secrets that they've got which adds complexity to their relationship. That’s been really fun to play."
