Ryan Reynolds was a surprise guest at Ben Foster and Elliot Lee's post-match press conference after Wrexham booked their place in the Football League on Saturday night.
The Red Dragons saw off Boreham Wood at the Racecourse Ground to secure promotion back to the fourth tier for the first time since 2008. Lee Ndlovu gave the visitors a shock lead inside the first minute before normal service was resumed as a goal from Lee and Paul Mullin's brace earned a 3-1 win and the required three points.
It was a result that moved them four points clear of second-place Notts County with one game to go, meaning Wrexham's spot in League Two was sealed - after a 15-year absence. There were jubilant scenes inside the stadium when the full-time whistle went as thousands of fans invaded the pitch at the end of the game.
Once that all cooled down, Foster and Lee spoke to the media in the press room as they reflected on Wrexham's National League title win and a return to the Football League. However, it was gate-crashed by owner Reynolds after he requested Foster's shirt in a private text message before the game.
Reynolds said: "Foster, can I have your jersey now?" The former Manchester United goalkeeper replied: "It is his jersey, yes, but it stinks by the way. Honestly, this absolutely stinks."

Lee then proceeded to also give Reynolds his shirt and claimed "I cannot say no to the owner can I" as the media suite burst into laughter following the interruption. The Hollywood star tucked both jerseys into his pocket and swiftly walked out of the room, leaving many journalists perplexed.

Foster continued: "He text me for that earlier, he was so hungry for that shirt. He was saying make sure you don't throw it into the crowd after the game. They are brilliant, they love it, they are fully in. They are like one of the boys at times, they won't come shouting and raving.
"They come in and get behind the lads. You are not always going to win, you're not always going to play 10 out of 10, you're not going to always smash teams out of the park. They understand that sport is a game where the opposition want to win as much as you do. That is the beauty of what they do, they don't expect instant results.
"They have been here two years now, last year's disappointment and now this year. When you've got a Notts County, who are breaking records just as much as we are, it's ridiculous. This is one of the hardest leagues to get out of in the world, it really is and they need to have a look at it because it is not fair on Notts County, it really isn't."
