Residents were left shocked when a white van suddenly smashed into parked cars on a terraced street and rolled onto its roof.
Police in Pentre, Rhondda Cynon Taf were called at around 8.15pm on Friday night after reports of the crash were made.
Local resident Susan Owen said she heard a "massive bang and crash" when the incident occurred, but she did not see it happen.
She told WalesOnline: "We were all at home, and the next thing I know I heard this massive bang and crash. We all ran to the front of the house to see what had happened."
The aftermath of the crash showed a number of cars damaged and the white van involved resting on its roof.

Susan added that the incident was very "disconcerting".

One resident said their house 'shuddered' (Susan Owen)She continued: "It's very disconcerting. The neighbourhood is still quite shocked over what's happened. My daughter's car was one of those affected and she's quite upset by it all."
Another local took to Facebook to say her house "shuddered" during the crash and that she was glad she wasn't "walking with the kids up the street with the dog" when the crash occurred.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit.

'The neighbourhood is still quite shocked over what's happened,' Susan said (Susan Owen)A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police was called at 8:14pm last night, Friday 21st April, with a report that two vehicles had been involved in a road traffic collision on Bronllwyn Road in Pentre.
"A 28-year-old man from Bridgend has been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level was above the limit. He remains in police custody. No-one was injured."
In an unrelated incident earlier this year, a 12-year-old boy was fatally hit by a van,
Devon and Cornwall Police said that the boy died at the scene as a result of his injuries after the collision at Pool near Redruth, Cornwall, in March.

A spokesperson for the force said: "The road was closed for some time to allow an investigation to take place, led by the Roads Policing Team. It was reopened at around 1am on Tuesday, March 14.
