Eamonn Holmes reignites This Morning feud as he lashes out yet again
Eamonn Holmes has reignited his feud with ITV by going to war via twitter over This Morning - which he was unceremoniously dumped from two years ago.
The 63-year-old television presenter used to host This Morning on Fridays alongside his wife Ruth Langsford, also 63.
But the married duo were let go from their end of week presenting role back in January 2021 to make way for a refreshed presenting panel - with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary taking over soon after.
However, it seems some ITV daytime viewers have not gotten over the fact Eamonn and Ruth no longer host the show - and it looks like Eamonn isn’t over it either.

One fan tweeted: "I personally think This Morning as gone down hill since they got rid of Ruth and Eamonn.”
And Eamonn then replied to the tweet, typing: "And who am I to argue."
He went on to ‘like’ several posts criticising This Morning and tweets from fans that said they missed seeing Ruth and Eamonn together on screen.
Eamonn used to host This Morning on Fridays alongside his wife, Ruth Langsford (Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)One person wrote: "Absolutely rubbish that show since Eamonn and Ruth left, I stopped watching it totally."
Another penned: "I don't watch these days - it's just too annoying for me."
"Definitely doesn't feel as warm and genuine without lovely @ruthieel and @eamonnholmes," a third person wrote.
While Ruth continues to appear on ITV as a panelist on Loose Women, Eamonn has since decamped to GB News where he hosts a breakfast show.

Speaking to The Times in January last year, Eamonn said: “I don’t have any issues with that at all. I just have issues with why they can’t tell you your time is up.
“Just have a conversation, any conversation. I was given no reason why I was blocked.”

Eamonn now stars on GB News, where he helms a breakfast show (GB News)A spokesperson for ITV said at the time of Eamonn’s departure in 2021: "We would like to wish Eamonn all of the very best in his new role.
“As a duo, Eamonn and Ruth have been part of the This Morning presenting team for the last 15 years and we thank Eamonn for all of his hard work and contribution to the show.”
Fans can occasionally see Eamonn and Ruth back on TV as s duo when they make appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox - which airs on Channel 4.
