A woman has been left rattled after being blamed for "ruining" her neighbour's marriage because he can't keep his eyes off her. She explained how she has never spoken a word to her neighbour before being confronted by him in the street - yet is the "sole reason" why his relationship has hit a sour spot.
Taking to Reddit, the 31-year-old said: "I have gone on walks around my neighbourhood with my stroller for the past year after giving birth. Today, as I was reaching the end of my street, I was confronted by one of my neighbours. He was outside of his house and asked if I had a moment to speak.
"My neighbour confronted me about straining his marriage, and proceeded to tell me that him and his wife knew what I was doing by constantly walking by their house in 'inappropriate clothing like see through leggings and inappropriate shorts'."
She ended up changing her walking route (stock photo) (Getty Images/iStockphoto)She went on to explain how her angry neighbour told her that he "isn't in the habit of cheating or flirting" with those in his community - and how she needs to stop trying to seduce him.
She added: "[He said] I should immediately stop all attempts because it was frustrating him and his spouse. I was beside myself and absolutely rooted to the spot in shock.

"I have never even exchanged a single word with this man, and I have never even seen this man at all!
"I didn’t think I was dressing inappropriately by wearing regular running shorts or leggings.
"I am not out to seek any kind of attention on these walks since it’s one of the only times I find a little peace and exercise, and I even usually try to avoid small talk because I kind of suck at it."
Rattled by the interaction, the woman has changed her walking route because she doesn't want to be scolded by him again, despite doing nothing wrong.
"I feel so awkward and ashamed by this encounter. I am worried about being approached again because this came out of absolutely nowhere," she added.
"I didn’t even know how to reply so I just walked off awkwardly."
Commenting on her post, one user said: "This guy and his wife sound like whack jobs. From what you describe, it sounds like there is nothing wrong with your attire.
"Those are completely normal things to wear out walking. And you're walking in your own neighbourhood, which you have every right to do.
"Either this guy got caught ogling you, his wife is jealous of your appearance, or both. Either way, that's on them, not you. Just keep doing your thing, because these fools don't own the neighbourhood."
Another user added: "I'd say be cautious, if that man assumes that a woman having 'revealing clothing' as temptation for cheating then he isn't trustworthy, neither is the spouse. like seriously screams sexist beliefs."

A third user said: "Sounds as if you are just living your best life taking walks through your neighbourhood enjoying time with baby and minding your own business. Keep doing so. Carry some pepper spray for the Creepy neighbour."
