Man dies in double stabbing near nightclub as police launch murder investigation
A man has died following a double stabbing near a nightclub as police appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Trei Daley, 26, was named by Metropolitan Police this evening as the man who was stabbed to death in Hackney Wick, East London in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police say they were called at about 4.30am after two people presented at a hospital with stab injuries.
Trei, from South London, sadly died but a 24-year-old man has since been discharged from the hospital.
There have been no arrests.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.

One wrote on Twitter: "Come [out] of the workers hostel and found the area full of police and the surrounding area all taped up.
"Some poor soul was murdered during the night near Hackney Wick Overground Station. You hear about these things you don't expect it on your doorstep."

"Thoughts are with the family of those that have lost a loved one. Police cordons in place so advise avoiding the area if you can."
West Ham United fans hoping to cut through Hackney Wick to get the London Stadium for today's match against Chelsea were told to take a different route.
A police officer with a forensics officer near the scene earlier today (PA)A man hoping to set a food stall in the area wrote on Twitter: "Just arrived to set up and Hackney Wick is a murder scene. Police officer told me it will be closed all day so unfortunately we will not be opening."
Forensics were at the scene for most of the day collecting evidence.
DCI Jim Eastwood of the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command said: “Firstly, I want to express my most sincere sympathies to Trei’s family.

"They are being supported by specialist officers, and a dedicated team of detectives will be doing everything possible to bring to justice whoever was responsible for this tragic killing.
“Our enquiries have established that Trei was stabbed near to the Colour Factory nightclub in Queen’s Yard, which is just off White Post Lane in Hackney Wick.

"Did you witness some sort of fight or confrontation? Did you see or hear anything suspicious?
“Officers have already spoken with a number of people who were in the area, and I am grateful for their assistance.
"But there will be others who saw or heard something, and I need those people to come forward and speak with detectives.”
