Mum's remains found in shallow grave as ex-husband arrested for 'hiding body'
Police have arrested a primary school teacher's ex husband after she was found dumped in a shallow grave.
Mum-of-three Luz Hernandez, 33, from New Jersey, US, had failed to turn up to work at BelovED Charter School in Jersey City on Monday.
Friends and colleagues were concerned for her wellbeing last Saturday after they were unable to contact her.
Police were alerted of her disappearance on Monday by the school and visited her home.
She was not in the house but cops noticed "blood splatters" on the walls.

Authorities asked her family where Ms Hernandez was last spotted, which was at a nearby house on Saturday, after visiting a relative with her children.
This would be the last time her kids would see their mum after they were dropped off at their dad's on Sunday.
Concerns were raised after the teacher didn't turn up to BelovED Charter School (NBC 4 New York)Authorities believe her ex-boyfriend Cesar Santana, 36, was responsible for her death after she was found strangled and in a shallow grave.
Police arrested the suspect in Florida which is more than 1,200 miles away from where the mum-of-three was found dead.
She was found with a blunt force trauma injury and injuries to her neck.
He is currently being held on a charge of desecrating and concealing human remains as well as hiding her body.
Her ex Cesar Santana has been arrested in connection with her murder (Miami-Dade Turner Guilford Night Detention Center)However, he has not been formally charged with her murder although the 36-year-old could face additional charges.
Police are still searching for another suspect Leiner Miranda Lopez, 26, who is allegedly wanted in connection to her death.
Ms Hernandez's heartbroken family revealed Cesar was the dad of her three children.
The pair had been together since high school but split up last year, according to her friends.

Students paid tribute to the teacher (NBC 4 New York)Her cousin Yajaira Germosen said: "She was a really good mother. She was kind. She was a beautiful person. We are going to miss her so much. I cannot speak, it's unbelievable."
The dad brought the children to church on Sunday the day after family members were left concerned for her wellbeing.
Yajaira said she remains amazed he went to church with their children.
She added: "He went to the church with kids, like nothing happened."
A makeshift memorial has been set up outside the teacher's home (NBC 4 New York)The teacher's school shut for one day this week out of respect for Ms Hernandez.
A makeshift memorial has been created outside her home with dozens of cards and flowers left by her friends, colleagues, students and parents.
BelovED founder Bret Schunder said: “People loved her. She was a wonderful co-worker.
"She was a beloved member of the BelovED family. People are feeling devastated by this.”
