A woman in a throuple with two men has claimed her online critics are just envious of her loving lifestyle.

Brazilian influencer Larissa "Lary" Ingrid, who has 441,000 followers on Instagram, lives in the north-eastern city of Fortaleza with her partners Italo Silva and Joao Victor.

After going public with her three-way relationship on the TV programme Se Liga, Lary says she has received a torrent of abuse on social media.

But the 27-year-old has dismissed her detractors as motivated by jealousy.

She said: "There are many comments on social media because it was in some gossip pages, then there are several envious people - because, to me, it's pure envy.

"They can't even get one [man], so they find fault with those who have two."

The throuple have four children, with Italo and Joao being the respective fathers of the two youngest.

Lary told Se Liga that the advantages of having two men in her life include having two people to wash the dishes and clean the house for her.

She added: "I no longer have depression, I don't have time to be depressed anymore."

She said: "Nobody has anything to do with our lives. They keep commenting 'eww', as if they don't have a lover or have done worse things."

Lary is keen to formally marry her partners but is unable to do so, as polyandry is not recognised under Brazilian law.

She said: "People have already come to me saying that they live like this [in a throuple], but they don't have the courage to admit it to their family, they are afraid of what the neighbours will say, and they ask me what I think.

"I always say, 'I think you should do what makes you feel good, what makes you happy.'"

Lary says she deletes most of the negative comments she sees about her relationship, and also blocks some profiles.

She said: "We don't need them to live. The ones who criticise the most are the ones who do much worse.

"I prefer not to absorb this kind of thing. I like good things. I pretend I don't see bad things.

"There were some comments on a photo of Joao, and I told him, 'Delete all the negative comments and thank the good ones.'

"This is how we have to deal with life because there are a lot of bad people out there."
